Howth-Sutton Autism Friendly Community
Our Mission
is to create an inclusive environment where autistic people can live, work and play without barriers in the Howth/Sutton community. We do this by:

Educating the community
about what autism is so we can support and embrace autistic people of all ages and stages of life in all that Howth and Sutton has to offer.
Supporting autistic residents of Howth and Sutton and their families
by providing opportunities for them to meet and build friendships.
Providing opportunities
for autistic individuals to engage in activities that connect them with the wider community.
Finding ways to foster the strengths and interests
of autistic individuals in our community which give them opportunities to thrive.
Sharing information and educational opportunities
relevant to the autistic community.
You can help
Make Howth Sutton Community more Autism Friendly

- Engage with autistic people in your community – join us at our events and outings
- Encourage local clubs, businesses and other organisations to become Autism Champions
- Spread the Word about what we do, so autistic people and their families can find support in their community
- Advocate for autistic people if you see discrimination towards them
- Volunteer to help us with our activities and social clubs
- Donate, so we can support autistic individuals and their families and continue to educate the community

We work in association with AsIAm, Ireland’s leading Autism Charity as part of their Autism Friendly Towns Initiative and The National Federation of Arch Clubs who support us with our aims.
