☑️ Establish a committee and register as a Fingal PPN and a non-profit CLG
☑️ Connect with the local Autistic Community, hear their voices and provide opportunities for them to be included in the work of our organisation
☑️ Develop an identifiable public presence
☑️ Start to educate the wider community about ‘What Autism Is’ and demonstrate accommodations
☑️ Develop a Training team to include autistic adults, and recruit Autism Champions
☑️ Create opportunities for Autistic people and their families to meet and create friendships
☑️ Develop a finance strategy and hold fundraising events to finance activities
☑️ Develop a communications strategy and a means of sharing relevant information

Year Two
Review work done in Year One and plan for Year Two
Provide opportunities to hear the voices of the autistic community and include Autistic people in all aspects of the organisation
Build on our Champions Training Programme working towards set targets
Continue to seize opportunities to Educate the Community about ‘What Autism Is’
Continue to build our online presence and communications strategy
Extend the variety of opportunities for Autistic people and their families to meet, create friendships and pursue common interests
Review all Governance, Policies and Procedures


Year Three
Review work done in Year Two and plan for Year Three
Commence the process of becoming a registered charity
Continue to build on Education of the Community
Meet targets for Champions Recruitment and Training
Continue to create opportunities for Autistic people to pursue interests and develop friendships
Ensure a sustainable Finance Strategy is in place
Host an event for receipt of Accreditation by AsIAm as an Autism Friendly Community
Once complete, Howth Sutton Autism Friendly Community will earn the Autism Friendly Town Award and Status
